Per il momento, la tal persona non vi piace, ma se sapeste come guardarla meglio, forse qualche cosa in lei finir� per piacervi. L'esistenza � talmente ricca di occasioni nuove! In determinate circostanze, coloro che non vi piacevano possono diventare vostri amici. Allora non sprecate queste possibilit�.
Perch� questa generale tendenza degli esseri umani a sottolineare le lacune e gli errori? Esistono, � vero, non si pu� non vederli. Ma si hanno pi� possibilit� di migliorare una situazione se ci si concentra pi� sul bene che sul male. Piuttosto che criticare ci� che � difettoso negli esseri, soffermatevi sulle cose buone per vedere come queste possano essere ancora migliorate; e anche se essi avessero una sola qualit�, aggrappatevi a quella. Lasciate da parte i loro difetti, e aiutateli a sviluppare le loro qualit�.
Imparate a guardare tutto quello che vi circonda con simpatia e riconoscenza, anche gli oggetti. Si, anche gli oggetti, perch� vi rendono talmente tanti servigi!
